If there is such a thing as punk nostalgia, then only with scratch letters! And, of course, with lots of music, art and chaos. A mixture that developed in a very special way in wild West Berlin in the 1980s: The walled-in city, subsidized by West Germany, is a paradise for all kinds of colorful characters. It is a creative melting pot for sub- and pop culture. The fall of the Iron Curtain is unthinkable. Here, anything seems possible. B-MOVIE is a fast-paced collage of mostly unreleased film and TV material from a wild but creative decade that begins with punk and ends with the Love Parade – in a city where the days are short and the nights are endless. The film is reminiscent of a time when the focus was on the here and now, without any concern for long-term success. It's about living in the moment.
