How do we want to live together? In the middle of nowhere in Brandenburg, between green meadows, between techno and theatre, ten people answer this question in their own way. In the artists' colony Rakete Perelman, they live their version of freedom and independence - each for himself and all together. Jen (Liv Lisa Fries), who is in her mid-twenties, would like to leave her stressful existence in the city and the fashion industry behind in order to start over, and is now also drawn into this alternative way of life. But the freedom they have won is in jeopardy, because even in the largest societal and geographical periphery they need money. The solution seems to be in art, or in theatre. To save the community, Tobias (Tobias Lehmann) enforces the annual theatre production, against all odds. Jen gets the lead role in the piece, which slowly overtakes reality and at some point questions the idealism of the whole community.
